This afternoon, I sent a link for my blog "A child's love... A mother's fear..." to my youngest children. Tonight, my son Matt sent me this following song that he wrote for his little sister.
we all keep secrets
locked behind our cellar doors
we all keep them
hide away, hide away
little girl
weight of the world that's not yours
on your shoulders
hide away from their dreams tonight
go to sleep
in your bed tonight
just believe
it'll be alright
do the best
that you can do
that's all that we can ask of you
somewhere on the long road
you fell and you lost your name
we all know you
don't hide away, don't hide away
little girl
you've got some dreams of your own
in that head of yours
don't hide away from your dreams tonight
go to sleep
in your bed tonight
just believe
it'll be alright
do the best
that you can do
that's all that we can ask of you

As I said at the end of "A child's love... A mother's fear..." I am an incredibly blessed mum...
